LYRIEL (DE) is a female fronted symphonic metal band from Cologne/Germany. The band was formed in 2004 around front singer Jessica Thierjung. LYRIEL developed their own unique style by mixing the tender sound of violin and cello which are played live on stage with the rough bombastic volume of guitar, bass and drums.
